Itís important to know that if you select this option and you make a claim where an unnamed driver was using the vehicle when the incident occurred, you may be liable to pay the unnamed driver excess.
RENTAL CAR FOLLOWING AN ACCIDENT
If your vehicle is damaged in an accident, we will provide you with a rental car.
REMOVAL OF BASIC EXCESS FOR WINDOW CLAIMS
1 replacement claim and 2 repairs in any period of insurance (windscreen, sunroof or window glass).
1. Take precautions to prevent further loss, damage or liability.
2. Notify the police as soon as possible if necessary.
3. After checking everyone is ok, obtain as much information as you can - the more detail the better. Record the name, address, phone number, email address, licence number and insurer of other drivers involved, and the registration numbers of their vehicles.
4. Call Skyline Insurance on 1300 139 664 and connect to claims.
5. Describe the accident and the damage incurred.
6. Pay your applicable excess(es) if required and the claims specialists will arrange a vehicle inspection at the repairer of your choice and convenience.
7. Once your claim is approved, Allianz will help you book in your vehicle for repair.
8. When ready, your vehicle will be available for you to collect: fully repaired and guaranteed for materials and workmanship.
